Coaptāre — “to fit together.”
Coapta comes from the Latin coaptāre — “to fit together.” It’s the whole idea in one word: software cut to fit your business, instead of a business squeezed to fit the software.
Our assistant, Tessa, is named for tessera — the small mosaic tile that fits into place to complete the picture. That’s her job: the friendly piece that makes everything fit.
Most software makes you give something up. We don’t.
Custom-fit, fast, and affordable — most options give you two of the three at best. Here’s the trade-off each one asks you to make, and why we don’t.
Big, old business software
Powerful, but slow to set up, pricey, and generic — months of work to bend a one-size system into something close to how you actually run.
Gives up: speed & fitOne-size apps for your trade
Quicker to start, but rigid — you bend your business to fit the app, and it only ever does the one narrow thing it was built for.
Gives up: real fit — you bend to itA pile of AI tools
A drawer full of clever tools you’re left to choose, wire together, and babysit yourself — more apps to juggle, not fewer.
Gives up: it’s built for you — you assemble itA custom dev shop
Truly custom, but generalists — months of work and a five- or six-figure bill, with no real depth in your line of business.
Gives up: speed, price & field depthCoapta
Custom-fit, fast, and affordable — all at once. Real knowledge of your field, an AI engine built right in, and a running system you control. No corner given up.
